Julius Steyn has joined as Head of Operations (HOO). Steyn is extensively experienced in investment banking and private equity investment, with fluency in five programming languages. Technology-driven solutions are key to Steyn’s management style, having achieved success with multiple African markets. This included concluding transactions of more than $500 million USD, with structured transactions in the Middle East in excess of $5 billion USD on the basis of public-private partnerships.
“I really enjoy the latest technology challenges that this specialized marketplace offers,” Steyn says. “TheXchange’s next-generation business model is in line with current growth models that we see in the market for NFT's and other blockchain based value tokens. I look forward to ensure that business operations are supporting the technology initiative that the company has developed.”
Rowan Marais has joined us as new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Marais is the founder of tax and accounting practice, Crowe Global, and a registered master tax practitioner with the South African Institute of Tax Professionals. He is also an expert trustee on various trusts incorporated in South Africa.
“I am excited to be part of this big economy that will definitely change lives,” he says.
Aimeé Williamson has joined as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), spearheading all marketing developments, including operations, partnerships, consulting and strategic planning. As Juris Doctorate graduate at Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans, Williamson earned her degree with a focus on partnerships, contracts, business entities, and entertainment law.
Among other roles, she is the former Executive Director of the Louisiana Department of Children where she spearheaded the planning of a multi-department statewide infrastructure and a former COO of a conglomerate out of Florida which covered multiple industries, including: restaurants, investments, real estate, sales, and marketing.
Renier Kriel joins the team as Chief Product Officer (CPO). Kriel is an innovation, start-up and venture specialist, with more than ten years of leadership and management experience in the dynamic space of digital services. As a result of his passion for leadership, Renier has built highly innovative teams in the digital solutions and digital product development space and has personally helped start-ups and corporates unlock value in existing or new digital products.
